The TSA (Thinking Skills Assessment) is a fast-paced examination that challenges students' critical thinking and problem-solving abilities within strict time constraints. Unlike traditional tests, the TSA prioritizes clear and efficient thinking over subject-specific knowledge. It is designed for students applying to a wide range of courses, aiming to assess their thinking skills rather than their factual knowledge. While the TSA is known for its difficulty, with the right methods and strategies, it is possible to excel and "crack" the test.
Our TSA Test Preparation Classes are specifically tailored to cover all question types encountered in the TSA. We place special emphasis on tackling the most challenging questions and equipping you with effective problem-solving techniques. Through five comprehensive sessions, you will develop a robust toolkit that empowers you to approach the TSA with confidence and achieve outstanding results.

Our TSA Course Host, Sarah:
Sarah graduated from Oxford University in 2019 with a first in PPE, finishing top of the year in philosophy. She then completed her MA in philosophy at NYU, graduating with departmental honors and a thesis with distinction. Since then, Sarah has used her experience of US and UK university admissions to mentor many students, providing support with essay writing, admissions test preparation (particularly the TSA and GRE, having scored in the top percentiles in both) and interview skills. In 2021, Sarah hosted a similar program online for Wellington school on behalf of U2 Tuition, as well as for Wimbledon High in 2022, and so has many relevant sessions prepared on all elements of the TSA, including critical reasoning, problem solving and essay writing.

Dates: Classes will be held over two weekends in September (8 total hours):
Saturday 23rd September: 11-1pm UK time
Sunday 24th September: 11-1pm UK time
Saturday 30th September: 12-2pm UK time
Sunday 1st October: 9-11am UK time
Classes will be held online via Zoom
